Chapter 62. Breakfast

Freya’s POV

Leaving Rufus’s bedroom was something I would have to become skillful in. For the time being, at least.

Opening the door carefully, I peeked out into the hallway. Both Sienna and Milo’s bedroom doors were closed, which meant they were still asleep. Taking a glance back at Rufus, who still lay in his bed, I blew him a kiss before leaving the bedroom.

‘Coast is clear’ Elara said in my mind ‘I’ve got your back soldier, there’s no one on our tail. Let’s go! Let’s go!’

I laughed in reply to Elara’s comments, she really amused me at times ‘I think we succeeded Lieutenant,’ I said, pushing myself through my own bedroom door before carefully closing it behind me ‘I think we pulled it off!’

‘You definitely pulled something off,’ Elara remarked with a smug tone.

‘ELARA!’ I laughed ‘Don’t be so filthy, you little minx.’

‘Don’t you act so coy,’ Elara said ‘You were on fire last night, there’s no way Rufus is letting go of you now.’
