Rufus’s POV

The calm sound of the soft stream rolling past me, paired with the hoot of the familiar owl in the trees above, was one of the most relaxing atmospheres I could ever enjoy. The moonlight shone in pieces through the trees, and darkness fell around me, but I still felt safe.
