“Well what an absolute trash fire that movie was,” Sienna screeched as we left the movie theatre. “Don’t you think Freya? Unrealistic nonsense that depicts nothing but lies about love.”
“I liked it,” I replied with a nervous laugh as I scratched my head. “It was just two hours of escapism Sienna, don’t overthink it.”
“Overthink?” Sienna asked as fury built in her voice. “I am just saying that two people cannot possibly experience such a strong love connection, it’s not possible because love isn’t real.”
“You don’t believe in love?” I asked as I tilted my head. We walked down the high street toward where Sienna had parked her car. The night had drawn in now and the dark sidewalk was illuminated by the street lamps. “How can you not?
