Chapter 96. Preparation
Nathan’s POV
“Nathan.”
A voice called my name gently, the familiar voice of the beautiful witch in the cottage I had grown familiar with.
“Hazel,” I said in return, my eyes studied the beautiful redheaded goddess at my side. Her statuesque frame draped with the red silk of her long slinky gown looked perfect on her. “You look exquisite,” I said, catching my breath before it ran away from me.
Hazel offered me a smile. “You don’t look so bad yourself Nathan,” her own eyes drunk me in, I could tell by the sparkle in her eye she liked what she saw. “You scrub up pretty nicely.”
With a nod, I offered my arm to Hazel. “Let’s get you a drink, shall we?”
It was then, my attention became distracted by the shapes moving toward the curtain. Freya had made her way over to the long velvet curtain, while Rufus followed. My eyes narrowed as I watched Rufus disappear with her.
