Nathan’s POV
“I have an offer to make,” Hazel said as she studied Rufus and Freya. “One I suggest you should listen to.”
“Let’s go somewhere a bit more private,” I said as I stepped down from the stage. “Parties over people, time to go home,” I spoke through the mic before placing it down.
I watched as the remaining guests who didn’t already leave, disperse quickly.
“What are you suggesting?” Rufus asked, his arm tight around Freya with protection. I admired his instinct to keep her close to him, keeping Freya safe was a priority it seemed. “I just want Freya safe, no harm can come to her.”
Hazel nodded gently. “of course,” her eyes shifted to Freya and back to Rufus. “I’m a high witch, my knowledge of magic is through decades of studying,” she paused. “I can rid Freya of her power for good, if its causing a burden upon her, which I can see it is.”
