Miatta's POV

And we talked for a long while into the night. We talked about anything and everything and I told Lucas that I was feeling bad for Addy. I didn't tell him that I had been the one who escorted Ramona to the border but I made sure he knew that Addy's execution would not make me happy.

He laid on his back, staring up at the ceiling in thought. I laid partly on him, gently caressing his chest and a leg carelessly thrown over his thighs. His hand was idly tracing doodles on the space behind my thigh just below my ass.

He would not take his hand up to cup my ass, just torturing me with the anticipation. I tried wriggling but he didn't budge so, I behaved myself and went still. At least, we weren't fighting anymore, a big plus where Lucas and I were concerned.
