"Drag him to the car! He dares to touch me?" I snarled, my anger boiling over. My guards quickly obeyed, hauling Derek to the vehicle. I didn't trust him one bit - he might attack us while we're driving.

"Tie him up!" I commanded, and they nodded, securing his hands behind his back and gagging him. We got in the car and sped away.

I had instructed my guards to monitor Derek's movements every morning, tracking his route. Once I knew his path, I had them block the road, ensuring he'd have no choice but to take this route, making him an easy target for my ambush.

And foolishly, he fell for my trap. His first mistake was stopping to confront me; he should have kept driving, despite the damaged car. I touched my nose, still bleeding from our earlier encounter.
