Chapter 19

Rosalie could not stop thinking about Zeila's words. She led her friend on a tour of the pack, showing her the beauty of Golden Iris. 

The pack's numerous stores, restaurants, and other forms of entertainment demonstrated their entrepreneurial and financial success. Zeila was impressed by what she saw, even reports about Ortega occasionally holding spectacular fashion presentations. Her pal could not wait to get into the fashion designing aspect company. 

Three hours later, Zeila was completely exhausted.

The journey there, her feelings after discovering that the Lycan King was her mate, and his rejection were all taking a toll on her. So, after dozing off numerous times, she decided to retire under the covers early. 

They had a fast dinner in the apartment while watching a movie on television. Eventually, she could not keep her eyes open anymore. She had a bath, and by the time she got into bed, she was fast asleep.
