Chapter 79. Walter Lance
(OLIVE'S VISION FINAL PART)
Walter had his face shielded with a face mask and was also wearing a face cap. He was sitting on one of the benches in the reception hall and had his arms crossed. A few minutes later and the door by the right opened, revealing Lois in a sling.
“Hi,” she said with a smile as she walked out, accompanied by a nurse.
“Hey,” he said and got up.
“That hurt I guess. I kept hearing you wincing and all that,” he added then pointed to her arm. Lois furrowed her brows.
“You heard that? But they had rubbed a numbing cream on it so I didn't feel too much pain while wearing the sling. Plus, my winces were pretty low. How did you hear me from here or were you standing by the door?”
Walter smiled and scratched the back of his neck.
“I might have...eavesdropped a little. I wanted to make sure you were okay,” he answered and she flushed.
“Really? Thank you so much,” Lois said sweetly and hugged him, much to his surprise. She
