"What's going on here?" Jamirez asked one of the pack members, who stared shamelessly at the two people in front of the pack house.

"The Alpha found his mate."

"Really?"

"Yes, it's a good thing. He has been waiting for her," the pack member said dreamily.

Jamirez sighed. He was happy that the girl had come. He was so sure that Lucien was about to rip him a new one when he failed his promise to bring the girl to him. He had failed as a beta and as a friend, and that hurt Jamirez more than anything. He wanted to make up for it, but it was good that his mate was finally here.
