“Stop pacing… its disturbing.” Sarah complained weakly, swiping the cold spoon across her tongue while watching Jason walk back and forth through the living room. The taste of chocolate ice cream always made her delighted, but today, even though she had a whole bowl of it, it was unusually unsatisfying and bland.
“Jason!” Her voice raised a tad higher, making Jason halt. Frowning, he stomped over, snatching the bowl from her hands and cradling it. “You’re the one who’s been disturbing me! Why the hell are you playing around with ice-cream? If you can’t finish it, I have plenty of space in my gut!”
“It doesn’t taste that good anymore.” She muttered, pushing the spoon to his chest then reclining lazily. “You can have it, if you want.”
She didn’t need to tell him twice. Grinning, he scooped up a huge spoonful and stuffed his mouth, a happy shiver running down his spine. “It doesn’t taste good anymore.” He mocked, bouncing on his feet as he licked the corner of his mou
