Chapter 271. Price of Heraldry

~3RD PERSON'S POV~

Anima pulled her massive morning star across the marble floor, dragging a line through it as she ran toward Velarie. Stone and sand flew off the ground along the path the weapon created, and Anima carried a terrifying look on her face, her teeth clenched tightly and her brows tightly furrowed in rage.

She pulled her right hand upward, dragging the heavy metal ball up toward Valerie’s face. Valerie was quick enough to step backwards and avoid the sharp spikes of the ball by only an inch. The ball rose higher into the air, extending the chain that connected it to its handle a far distance above the ground.

When it was high enough, Anima turned around and pulled it toward the ground again, this time toward Marie, who was running toward her.

Marie quickly hopped out of the way, and the ball crashed into the ground, digging through it and following her as she ran toward the right.
