Chapter 281. Locked up

~3RD PERSON'S POV~

“Hey! Let go! Where are you taking me?” Herculia yelled as Mary dragged her by a long chain through a passage. The chain was connected to handcuffs that completely covered both of Herculia's hands. Edith and Clarabelle followed behind the two of them quickly, with worry on their faces.

Mary ignored Herculia's yells. She carried an angry expression on her face, with deep crevices forming between her brows and her jaws tightly clenched.

Herculia saw that Mary wasn't going to give her any attention, so she decided to use her fire magic to escape.

Her orange hair and eyes started to glow, and her body started to remove steam. She tried to melt the cuffs, but all her efforts were to no avail as the enchantments on them were too strong.

Mary pulled her further and threw her into a room along the passage. Herculia was about to run back out when Mary slammed the door in her face and locked it.
