Chapter 37. Lava Puzzle

~GABRIELLA'S POV~

We ran as fast as we could through the loop. As the loop became more and more evident, it started to feel like I was running in circles. This feeling was a sign that I was right—we could break the barrier this way.

The moment I and Gregory would cross each other's paths, the barrier would lose control over both of us, and we would break free from its hold. There was also a risk, though, that I and Gregory would end up in two separate loops.

I increased my pace, continuing along my path, and soon I saw Gregory coming toward me.

“Run faster!!” He yelled.

“Huh, what do you do?" I was about to ask when I noticed that the walls were desintegrating into nothingness. I looked around and found the entire tunnel had turned into a white, empty space.

“What the hell!" I yelled as my speed increased subconsciously. Before we knew it, I and Gregory crossed each other's paths, and the entire tunnel vanished.
