Chapter 78. Interrogation

~3RD PERSON'S POV~

Marie's and Derren's eyes widened in shock as the mysterious lady turned around. Marie quickly wet on one knee and lowered her gaze to Anaya's foot.

“Lady Anaya,” Derren said softly, his lips curving into a sinister smirk.

“My lady. It's such an honor to have you visit us this fine evening.” Maria's heart raced as she waited for a reply.

“You must be Maria, Luna of the Blackburn Pack. I've heard stories of yours and your Alpha's achievements. I'm certainly impressed that a young girl such as yourself has come so far,” Lady Anaya said with a soft smile.

Maria looked up at Anaya and smiled back. “Thank you, my lady,” she said.

“What brings you to my home, Lady Anaya? Have you come to plead on behalf of Alpha Steven? My plan to overthrow him is not something I can be talked out of,” Derren said.

“Is that how you welcome your guests? You can't even offer me a seat or even a drink." Anaya scoffed at Derren's attitude toward her
