Chapter 11

Mating Festival

Before I can release it, I find my boyfriend David lying on the ground, bleeding. I hold my mouth with both hands so that my scream shouldn’t sound as loud as it is. My heart is pounding in terror.

“What did I tell you?” He groans with coated blood from his teeth and mouth, dripping to the ground helplessly. Freeze chills going down my spine as I watch his horrifying stare fixed at me.

“Why did you kill him? This is barbaric and uncalled for!” I scream as I see David lying dead on the ground and all this is my fault, I set him in the middle of all this mess.

“You look gorgeous tonight!” He cruelly grins, sniffing my neck until he reach my face, then he starts rubbing his nose on mine with his eyes closed. I clue my back on the wall wishing that there was a way I could pass over it and run away.
