Eve and Kidron
Eve’s POV
Elgin’s company has been so enjoyable, it’s like I can’t enjoy a second without her. She’s like the sister I’ve never had.
“How did you feel when you saw him?” Elgin asks. “I felt butterflies in my belly. Haha, it’s weird, but I loved the feeling, though.”
“They are gone already. You can move out.” Kidron barges into the room. “Elgin! I didn’t know you were here as well.”
“Now you do.” she stands from where they are sitting.
“Okay!” Kidron nervously retorts, then he turns to leave.
“What was concluded? I mean, during the negotiations?” I stand up, and I move towards him.
He stops at the sound of my voice, turning back reluctantly. This gets us worried and more curious. He takes a deep breath. Then he turns to us. “Your fiance and I will meet in a deathly duel.”
