Adams and Kidron’s Deathly Duel

Adams’s POV 

“The earlier we get there, the better for us. I want to be done with all this once and for all.” I say eagerly. It’s been a long time since I had a good fight. I hope my adversary is worth my time.

“Good son! I know I don’t have to say this, but let me remind you of what’s at stake; if you lose the duel, we lose this Kingdom, and you know the effect. Still, I know you won’t lose it, so make sure you enjoy yourself at least.” Dad slurs King Williams as usual.

I have no problem with King Williams or his son. All I want is to take Eve home with me and have our wedding. A wedding which didn’t please me at first, but now, I want it more than ever. I’m fine with the idea of being a husband now.

“It’s time to leave.” I announce; we all mount our horses heading to the Palace for the final combat.
