Adams Gets Mad at His Father
Eve’s POV
After Adams had laid down for a while after his injuries were treated, we left for the camp. By then, Kidron was still unconscious. I didn’t get the chance to tell him goodbye, as I didn’t have the luxury of time to wait for him to gain consciousnesses. Elgin, as well. I will miss her.
At the camp
When we arrive at the camp, everyone is exhausted. Adams can barely move straight.
“You need to rest.” I whisper as I help him unmount his horse since he can’t do it alone.
“It’s okay. I’m okay!” but he flinches when I want to support him then he moves alone. Tugging his body like a fat heavy piece of wood that it’s so pathetic to watch.
“This is ridiculous. This girl makes you weak Adams. Now, I’m regretting why I asked you to marry her. You’re not more the Adams I used to know; adventurous, brave and not merciful.” his father rapidly unmounts his horse.
