Adams’s Crew

Eve’s POV 

I shudder out of sleep, and the first thing that comes into my mind is Adams! My heart palpitates in fury whenever I think of him. Just as now, I feel like I’m going to have a stroke and die on the spot.

Why did he speak to me in that manner? So that’s how he sees me; as a poor helpless, worthless little girl desperately in need of affection” the feeling makes me sick. I clench the bedsheet in wrath.

“Eve, it’s morning already!” Maryline barges into my room using a spare key that she always keeps. 

“Eve! It’s late and Adams is already down waiting for you!” she hurries me out of bed.

“Maryline... You know I hate when you barge into my room!” I cry, but does she care?

“I know! I’m sorry about that but be fast before Adams gets mad at me!” It honestly escapes her mouth.

“Mad at you? Why will he be mad at you when you’re this fond of him!” I utter while step down from the bed. Down, I begin to undress and
