Chapter 9
Little Girls Go
“Finis venit. Sol et luna dea non salvabit nos!. Finis venit, finis venit.” this little girl rolls onto her side of the bed, battling so hard to breath like she has forgotten how it’s been done.
She keeps uttering these words in her uncomfortable dream “Finis venit. Sol et luna dea non salvabit nos! Finis venit, finis venit” like a dose of her soul vanishes at any single word she utters.
She suffocates with her eyes close. At some point, it’s like her heart stops beating and everywhere gets quiet. Then a few minutes later she starts screaming back and she fight like she is drowning in an ocean filled with wild sharks.
Whenever she succeeds in catching a good breath, she starts coughing deeply like an old smoker with seriously damaged lungs, ready to give up his last breath at any second.
Her Lady in Waiting, Miss Molly, rushes in when she hears her coughing and crying, “hey, hey! I’m here. Rebecca, it’s Molly!” she cuddles the youn
