Chapter 48. Just Let Me

Ivy's POV

"Do you want something to eat? I'll call room service and–"

I put my hands on Sean's shoulders, rose to my toes and kissed him. His lips opened against mine, reciprocating stroke for stroke. His arms went around my waist to hold me steady.

I kissed him until I had to pull back for air. I stood in his arms, breathing heavily. My heart was beating so hard it felt like it'd crash through my rib cage.

"I'm not hungry," I told him. "All I want is you."

"You have me," he said.

I stepped back and took his hand. I led him to the bed and urged him to sit down on the edge. I straddled him and sank my hand in his hair, then tilted his head upwards.

I looked at him and traced his jaw with my hand, my thumb brushing against his soft lips. "Have I ever told you how beautiful your eyes are?"

"No," he said, his voice vibrating throatily.
