"Really?" Ezra's fiancée exclaimed when he told her that he was letting me stay at his place. "That's so nice of you, babe."

Her green eyes scanned me from top to bottom as she stepped towards me and extended her hand. She smiled at me. "Hello, it's so nice to meet you."
