"Come with me," I told Sean as soon as the waitress walked away with our orders.

Sean tilted his head. "Where?"

I stood, grabbing my bag. "Just come."

He looked confused but rose to follow me without question. The dimly lit restaurant buzzed with chatter, the clinking of glasses and silverware filling the space. I led him past the tables, past the bar, and straight to the men's restroom.

Sean hesitated as I pushed open the door. "Uh, this is the men's room."

I went inside and straight to the counter, where I placed my bag. I unzipped my bag and pulled out a pack of disinfectant wipes.

"What are you doing?" Sean asked, his voice laced with amusement.

I turned to face him and reached up, pressing a wipe against the cut on his lip. He flinched slightly.
