Chapter 54. Killing Me

Sean's POV

The shower soothed the pains scattered around my body and freshened me up, but I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I wanted to make up for all the time we'd lost so far.

I wanted to spend as much time I could with Ivy, spoiling her and making her feel like the luckiest woman on earth. There was so much I'd wanted to do for her since we met but couldn't. Now, I could. Finally, we were a couple.

When I woke up in the morning, I'd been afraid that she'd find an excuse to take back her decision to date officially. But I'd woken up to her looking at me with a soft smile on her lips, her beautiful face blessing my heart. Then when she took me to her favourite bookstore and excitedly told me about the stories that she enjoyed, I felt reassured.
