Cassie’s POV
After eating such a full lunch, he should be feeling much better now. I know that even though he has picked himself up off the floor, Kaiden will continue to be disappointed with himself. Even though it is not entirely his responsibility, he swears that he would protect this territory and his packmates with all of his might. Even though it is not entirely his fault, he is still obligated to bear the same thing nonetheless.
We decide to go inside because it looks like the snowfall is going to get harder. Because we live so close to the peak of the mountain, we are very familiar with the view. I really want and really hope that the attack that has been coming from the rogues' group would halt for the time being.
