Cassie’s POV

Strangely, the attack that had been coming from rogues for the past three days has halted completely, as if it had never happened. Now that winter is almost over, it is a good time to go hunting, and you should head deeper into the forest where the majority of the animals have emerged from their state of hibernation.

When I opened my eyes, Kaiden was not there to greet me. He mentioned night before that he will be quite busy on the day after tomorrow. As the alpha of Blue Moon, he will be attending a number of meetings and other events in his capacity.

If I state that all I want is more time to spend with him, am I being greedy? I am aware that this is only a part of his responsibilities as the alpha, but does it make me sound ungrateful?

I was upset because even after I did the fight against rogues in that section of the forest, in the middle of a winter storm, he did not let me, or should I say restrict me a lot of what I could do in that area
