Cassie’s POV

Everyone feels safe inside our territory since the barrier has been established. Anyone with the blood of a rogue shall not pass the barrier. So the number of rogue attacks drastically decreased, and it is safe to say that the situation is more manageable.

These past few months, since my mate officially became the alpha of the Blue Moon Pack, he has become restless. There are times I know that he will wake up in the middle of the night.

He will secretly go to the balcony and drink his wolfbane wine just to ease whatever he is dealing with inside his mind.

But these past few days, I've seen how he can sleep so soundly. He is in a better mood every day, and that is because one of our major problems has been solved for now.

Today, I am planning to make breakfast for him. He works hard, and he works so passionately. Kaiden has the heart of a leader and the strength that we need. So at least being his wife, I hope, is enough to make him feel mor
