“There is no need for you to worry about that.” It was all confirmed now. Malik was an accomplice. I snarled with disgust. I will take responsibility for my own actions.” With much effort, I forced my voice back to its normal pitch after clearing my throat. “Your mate is worried sick about you.”
“Jazmine is dead because you killed her,” he whispered with calm rage. “That is how I need you to be there for me, as my mate.”
