Peaches' silence stoked up my wrath like wood on a blazing fire. I stormed forward and grabbed her violently by her short, red hair and threw her across the pavement.

Screaming, her back hit against the square concrete column of the portico porch with a crunch. When she fell with a thud to the ground, she spat out blood.
