Justin’s POV
I felt a lot better now. I thanked Eli a lot this morning before she went to her class for taking care of me while I had a fever. I was lost in my thoughts while walking around the street to my studio when a woman bumped into me.
“I’m sorry,” I immediately said to the woman who almost stumbled because of me. I was about to ask her if she was okay, but she already looked at me, and I instantly recognized her.
“Justin,” she began, her voice trembling slightly. “Can we talk, please? Somewhere quiet.”
I hesitated for a moment, but there was something in Lana’s eyes that made me agree. “Sure,” I finally managed to say.
We walked to a nearby café, a place that held memories of our past. It was a bittersweet feeling, like reopening an old book you hadn’t touched in years.
