Chapter 69

Eliana’s POV

I heard about the talk between Justin and Lana. I was happy it turned out well, and I’m glad they had closure. I don’t know when Lana will leave for the States, but I am really happy about the change in her heart and mindset towards things she can’t change. The past few days after Justin and Lana talked, I got busy as well with packing my things from my old apartment. The reality sinks in—I finally moved into Justin’s place.

My aunt asked me twice if I was ready to take this next step with Justin, you know, the living together thing. She told me that this would make me know more about Justin. I told her I was ready to face everything, the negative and the positive side of him, it’s how much I love him.

While I was walking towards Elise’s studio, I remembered what a few of my classmates from baking were asking me. It confuses me—why do they think I was dating Theo instead of Justin? When I told them it was Justin I had been dating for a long time
