Chapter 28. Can I?
Despite the exhausted cries, Penelope slept easily last night. She had fallen asleep unexpectedly that night and was now awake. Because the beautiful sunlight beamed on her, she was too lazy to get out of bed.
When she felt someone caress her head, she got even more sluggish. She turned to face Lucas, embraced her, and kissed her forehead.
"Love," Penelope whispered, buried her head in Lucas's chest, and tightly reciprocated the hug of the man.
"Good morning, love," Lucas said softly.
"What time is it right now?" Penelope randomly asked.
"Around 8:30 in the morning," Lucas responded.
Upon hearing the time, Penelope realized that she had to hurry up and get dressed because she still had a class to attend at ten o'clock in the morning. But Penelope was too sluggish to get up and get dressed.
"Don't force yourself to go to school if you can't," Lucas advised.
