He fixed his eyes on her, in cold metal handcuffs, body bruised and battered, with an extremely tiny trickle of blood from her lip. His voice remained hard, but held in it a hint of incredulity as his eyebrow raised. "You're sticking with your story?"
Her words were shaking, yet firm, and one could feel that desperation in them was just specks of fire in her eyes. "I swear I'm telling the truth, Dr. Richard. I sw-swear I gave you the right address. I dunno what kind of evidence you have, or what really is going on, but I would never lie especially on something like this."
