Chapter 33. Colton Captured II

COLTON’S POV

As I regain consciousness, I feel disoriented and confused.  As I try to open my eyes, everything is blurry and I feel a sharp pain in my neck causing me to wince. What the hell? As my vision starts to clear, I look around and realize I’m surrounded by unfamiliar faces and the vampire lord.

We’re in an unfamiliar cave as dark as midnight. The only thing illuminating it the light from the fire torches.

As I lay on the ground, panic begins to settle in my chest as I remember what happened last night. I scan the room for Ryder hoping he was able to escape. What happened to him? Did they kill him? Did they capture him too? I really hope not.

My neck pulses with pain as I move my body around. They bit me. Shit! This is bad. I’m surrounded by vampires and I’ve been drained of my blood. I’m weak and my werewolf senses are unresponsive. I really hope Ryder was able to get out alive.
