"Hey, Seraphina," I turned and saw Rahul, a classmate of mine and my project partner. "Hi, Rahul."

"Are you waiting for someone? Where's Shreya? She's usually with you," he asked.

"Yeah, I am. Shreya left with Veer because she needed to get home on time today."

"My husband," I admitted, blushing a bit. I still felt a little shy calling Cassian my husband in public.

"You're married?!" Rahul exclaimed, clearly surprised. Not many people knew that I was married.

"Yeah, I've been married for eight months, even before I started college," I explained.

"Your husband must be lucky to have such a beautiful wife," he remarked with a laugh, placing his hand on my back. Uncomfortable, I subtly moved away and replied, "I'm the lucky one."
