As the morning sun gently streamed into my room at Sinclair Mansion, I slowly awoke to the realization that my mother had insisted I stay here to avoid any tardiness on my engagement day. It suddenly struck me – today was the day of my engagement to Seraphina. A mysterious, yet undeniable, smile crept upon my lips as I contemplated this significant step. But then, I couldn't help but wonder what had come over me during these past six days. Work and thoughts of Seraphina had consumed my every moment. Every night, I found myself gazing at her picture, something I had never done for anyone, not even Ayesha.

However, the responsibilities of the day quickly intruded upon my reverie. I had work to attend to. Shaking myself from my musings, I reluctantly rose from my bed, determined to prepare for the day ahead.

A workout was in order to clear my mind, so I embarked on a brisk exercise routine. Afterward, I took a refreshing shower and
