Noah bhai drove me to the mansion, and before we got out of the car, I asked him not to tell Mom and Dad about what happened. I didn't want them to worry.
"You always think of others. You're so kind-hearted. But that guy can't see it. Don't worry, I won't say anything," he assured me. I felt relieved, and we entered the house together.
"Mom! Dad! Look who's here. Your favorite son, and he brought your daughter-in-law—oops, I mean your daughter," Noah bhai called out loudly as we walked in. Mom and Dad came out, and they had big smiles on their faces. I forced a smile too, hiding any sign of my recent troubles. Mom opened her arms for a hug, and Noah bhai hugged me too. He tried to hug Mom, but she teased him and hugged me tightly instead. "I missed you and wanted to see you so much, and here you are," Mom said warmly.
