Chapter 100. High Blood Pressure
"Is that so?" Edmund grabbed his mother's phone from the table. The screen was still on. "And now, you can play on your phone even though you're dizzy?"
Elizabeth fell silent again. Why did she forget to turn off the screen earlier? "That's because I couldn't wait for you guys to come home. I meant to call you. But because I was too dizzy, I didn't call."
Edmund nodded. While pocketing his hands, he looked around, searching for other evidence. "You know what, Mom? I panicked when I heard that you fell in the bathroom. But if it turns out that all of this was just a trick, don't blame me if next time I think your illness is just an act."
Elizabeth opened her mouth, about to argue. Before her voice could come out, Edmund said, "Alice, where is the blood pressure monitor I bought earlier?"
