Chapter 101. Play Favorites

"Alice, what did you give me?" Elizabeth grabbed a tissue sheet and then spat out what she had just chewed.

Hearing that, Sky stopped coloring her book. She straightened her head. Her mother was showing Elizabeth the contents of the bowl.

"This is Moroccan Chicken and Sweet Potato Soup, a good menu for hypertension sufferers. It looks delicious. Don't you like it?"

"Just try it yourself. It tastes bland. Did they run out of salt?"

"Grandma?" Sky put her colored pencil on the table. "You are sick because your blood pressure is high. You can't eat salt."

Elizabeth was startled. She just remembered that there were other people in the room besides Alice and herself.

"But this isn't delicious at all. How am I going to eat? My appetite disappeared as soon as I tried it."
