Hawa’s POV
Despite her parents’ opposition, she ended up marrying the man who became my father. My grandfather was a merchant who sold building materials and did quite well. My father, being the eldest, helped him with the business. He was born and raised there, living next door to my mother’s aunt. That’s how he met my mother.
They loved each other deeply and eventually got married. At first, everything was fine, but soon after, my father’s family got involved and demanded he marry a girl from their family. Despite all the love my mother showed him—treating him like a king—he eventually gave in to the pressure. This woman became my mom’s co-wife, but my mother didn’t change her attitude. She continued to take care of him, pampering him and loving him so much that his friends envied him.
