Chapter 13. Hickeys in Awkward Moments

Teyana’s POV

Shit! I had to wear something else. “Mum, distract him or something! I will be downstairs in ten minutes” I breathed, ignoring my mum’s confused look. I knew she expected me to be excited, not worked up. I guided her out of my room as she asked if we should still go to the hospital but I gave her a bland excuse then shut the door behind her.

“Shit shit,” I muttered, eyes darting around then stopping on my wardrobe. I rushed towards the mirror again to check if the hickeys were miraculously fading on their own. If anything, they appeared more pinker and there was one that my hair didn’t even cover. Gosh, Jeremy, are you a vampire?
