Chapter 37. A Haunting Night

Teyana’s POV

My legs wouldn’t stop moving. Jeremy said he didn’t want to see me anymore. He hated me now. The back of my hand wiped angrily and nervously at my tears as my unsteady legs pushed forward.

For a moment in his car, I had thought we would kiss, my heart was beating so hard in my chest for him it had felt like it could burst. His effect on me was out of this world. I wished I hadn’t spoken about Zayne. What would have happened? Would he have kissed me? Would our meeting have ended differently?
