Chapter 12. Andrew’s Concern
It's been a week since I became Andrew's wife. Nothing has changed because I'm still focused on Grandpa's recovery. I haven't even thought about going back to Andrew's home— he said we already have our own house. I explained my reasons, he understood and respected it. No honeymoon plans. No sleeping in a bridal suite adorned with flower petals. And no unwrapping numerous gift presents from the guests.
I think every woman wants those things on their happy day. Including me. Before.
Now? Those desires are completely absent. It's enough for me now to talk about various things with Grandpa and Dad, who seem to have found renewed energy. And it would be impolite if my smile didn't appear in front of them. Because of what I've heard, they say the happiness of newlyweds is quite apparent. What's the scale for this happiness indicator they're referring to? Meeting Andrew, at most, lasts only an hour, and that's only after he returns from work.
