Chapter 11. Wedding Day

I once got engaged. The event was grand and extravagant. The man truly made me the most radiant girl. Besides being completely sure that his love was solely directed towards me, I was happy with all the surprises he gave.

The five-star hotel ballroom was transformed into a fairy tale palace courtyard. On both sides, there were illuminated swan ice sculptures in various colorful lights. Many round tables were scattered around with various candles and dishes that I was sure tasted exceptionally delicious. As I entered the area, my heart and eyes felt like they were touching the floor. Falling without warning.
