Chapter 16. Breakfast with Andrew

When I opened my eyes, the situation remained unchanged. Despite struggling to fall asleep last night, I eventually dozed off. Perhaps the accumulation of exhaustion and lack of sleep I've been experiencing lately quickly transported me to the realm of dreams.

The first thing I realized was that I was truly in someone else's room. As I turned my head, Andrew was still asleep with a soft snore and steady breaths. Nothing happened last night. Reluctantly, I allowed him to kiss me. Wait. Not a kiss that ends passionately with lots of sighs. Not like that!

For me, the kiss Andrew gave held a lot of significance. It was the highest form of respect he could give because I still had erected walls so high for him. Just a meeting of two lips that I felt were both cool. But for anything more than that, I declined gently. I wasn't ready for this one thing.

I think getting to know each other after marriage could be the best option. It sounds quite childish, but what can I say.
