Chapter 30. Move
Tomorrow, we'll be moving. Before that, once again, I visited the apartment where I've been living. Releasing fatigue and resting just so that my body could regain its energy in the morning. The items I'll take to the new house are ready to be transported. The large frames that were once in the living room, I moved them and carefully requested that they be wrapped in cloth to prevent dust and dirt from sticking. I used to clean them every week. Once I move, I probably won't visit this apartment often.
Maybe just once in a while.
I walked slowly through each room in this apartment. I'll surely miss the company of these spaces, where I enjoyed and flirted with time alone. Absorbing everything that has happened to me here. My achievements. My sorrows. My life. I've spent more time here, piecing together the fragments of my life that are no longer whole.
But now, there's Andrew. His presence isn't something I can easily push away. We're bound together. The slow passage
