Chapter 72. Mara's Breakdown

Lance's POV

Everyone gaped in surprise at Mara. She was physically shaking and breathing hard. She looked so angry for the mild tempered woman we had met the day before.

She wasn't satisfied with cutting the Gamma's throat obviously as she started stabbing him all over with the tip of the sword.

'Mara you need to stop. He is dead already,' dad said as it seemed everyone one of us was too surprised to say anything.

Mara didn't stop. She kept stabbing him non stop.

'Mara,' the Alpha called her name but she didn't answer. She just kept on with it until the Alpha stepped forward and got hold of her by the shoulder.

'No. He has to die. Let me kill him,' Mara said lifting her face up. There were blood stains that came from the Gamma's body on her face and clothes. There was also a crazed look on her face.

'He is dead already,' the Alpha said gently as he noticed the look on her face.

'Then he must burn. He must burn right now,' Mara said as s
