Chapter 57

Bradley and Leila return to the pack house to inform Luna Maurice of her condition. But what greeted them was chaos, and the reason was Samantha.

“What is going on? Why had her wounds worsened so drastically?” Bradley asked in disbelief. Since he had seen her earlier, he was sure that the wound was not life-threatening.

“Alpha, the doctor said Samantha’s wound possessed poison, and that is the reason she is in critical condition...” One of the pack members explains. Then he looks at Leila with doubt.

Since everyone knows Leila caused the wound, she is now in trouble. “What are you talking about? I did not poison her!”

Bradley turned to Leila and pat her shoulder. “Don’t worry, I know you didn’t.” He assured her. Since Bradley saw Samantha earlier, he can tell her wound was normal and not poisoned.

“But alpha, the doctor already announced Samantha is poisoned...”
