Chapter 99. Help from a Friend

Eryn’s POV

Marcus is lying on his stomach while I tend to his wounds. He fell asleep hours ago, but he is still whimpering. Theo is a monster for doing this to a child, and he didn’t deserve to see his mother murdered in front of him. He will be scared for life. Luckily, Natalie won’t remember anything that happened.

Atticus and Jackson are in the front room going over plans on how to get back into the Warrior Pack, and Cassie is taking the longest shower ever. Natalie is cooing on the bed beside me, and I sigh. I planned on having a large family, but I never thought it would include Atticus’s ex’s children. I hated Brittany, and I hate Theo more, but I will protect these children. I will not allow them to go back to Theo. He can pry them away from me over my dead body.
